To say that Whit and I miss California wine is an understatement. One of the things we miss the most is wine tasting and wineries that we frequented quite often. But we've got to make do in our East Coast home. We got some friends and decided to head to the Maryland Wine Festival...Great Grapes! It's no Napa but fun was had for sure and for now it will do :)

Mi casa es tu casa
We loved having 2 more visitors in May. One of my favorite things is opening our home to the people we love. And especially as we are getting to know our new city, it's gives us great reasons to get out and enjoy it more.
Houston came to stay for a night on his way to Washington D.C. and Jenny came to spend Memorial Day weekend with us. As always we loved the company and hoping for another visitor soon.

Took Houston to his favorite restaurant, Mama's on the Half Shell |
We found a hidden gem in Baltimore...Nick's Seafood House. |
We loved our time with Jenny and don't think we've ever tried as many new places in 1 weekend |
Whit showed Jenny and I his old stomping grounds from his bachelor days in Baltimore |
Sand between my toes
I've gotten a little behind...no excuses other than just busy living life. Let's get caught up...
When someone says "you not only marry a person, you marry their family" they are exactly right. And I am so grateful for my husband but just as much for his family that I now get to call mine too.
Back in May we got to spend a week at the beach with them. It was everything you'd want in a family vacation...food, sleep, games, sunshine, ocean, and quality time. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!
Until next time!!!
